B. Holmes was lead counsel, obtaining a "Not Guilty" verdict in a "sex related" criminal jury trial in February of 2018, allowing a defendant to be released from the custody of the local jail, return to his employment and obtain his back pay from his employer.
L. Holmes was lead counsel in a custody matter in Vernon Parish. A trial was held over the course of November and December 2017, leading to a verdict of joint custody for the father.
B. Holmes was lead counsel in a custody matter in St. Landry Parish. A three day trial was held in August of 2017, leading to a verdict of increased visitation and reduction in child support payments.
